I have been thinking about starting a blog like this for quite some time. I've been keeping a "list" of fun things to do, to visit, to see, etc. since I was about 15 and started to nanny and babysit for over 15 families. I have a hard time staying around the house day after day (although I do love a lazy home day now and again) and often sought things to do in and around the community. The hardest parts of my search was finding things that were 1) within reasonable driving distance 2) approrpriate for the ages of kids I had in my care (and eventually my own child and most importantly 3) within my budget! I've done countless searches looking for things to do in various locations throughout New England and have had little luck. What I wanted was a list of things to do by location (or distance from me) and what it cost and IF IT WAS ANY GOOD! I value my time (and money) as a full time working mom (a teacher, so I do get vacations and summers off) and hated wasting a day and dollar driving out to a place that was either too young or too old for my daughter or just not for us.
So, in short, this blog is a compliation of reviews of places around New England (mainly Massachusetts) that I have visited and experienced for myself
